From military handler to LA's high end K9 program
Mike Israeli's connection with working dogs started in the military, where he trained and handled his own K9 during a four year term. After moving to the US in 2006, he raised a puppy into a family protection dog that seamlessly fit into his household, and the demand from friends, family, and neighbors made it clear there was a category to build.
That early demand grew into Delta K9 Academy. Mike scaled from a modest facility to a full training campus, and traveled internationally to hand select working line dogs with the temperament, nerve, and stability the program requires.

Delta K9 Academy specializes in breeding, boarding, and training dogs across every behavior category, with a primary focus on top tier protection dogs for families and businesses. What sets the program apart is custom training tailored to each household, paired with lifetime support for every dog placed.
The team works closely with law enforcement to stay current on equipment, techniques, and the criminal tactics targeting civilians, and folds those learnings back into the training so the dogs stay effective as threats evolve.
